RESEARCH QUESTION AND OUTLINE

Question:
Why do many modern Art, Media & Design education courses have problems with accepting certain* types of work as viable project outcomes from their students?

This work has been presented as a website using text & images to make its arguement instead of a traditional essay on paper, to keep with the theme, message and approach of the research study: how tutors relate to challenging approaches of student work.

Outline:
This essay will explore this common dilemma across the disciplines of Illustration, Fine Art, 3D, Fashion & Textiles, Media and Graphic Design; citing case studies from lecturers as a useful guide for educators and students alike.
